Machine Learning Seminar and IOT For Supporting Industry

Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) refers to sensors, instruments and other interconnected devices that are connected together with industrial computer applications, including manufacturing and energy management. This connectivity enables data collection, exchange and analysis, which has the potential to facilitate increased productivity and efficiency as well as other economic benefits. [1] IIoT is the evolution of a distributed control system (DCS) that enables a higher level of automation by using cloud computing to perfect and optimize process control.

The Faculty of Computer Science, Mercu Buana University held a Machine Learning and IOT For Supporting Industry Seminar, which presented speaker I Putu Edy Suardiyana Putra, Ph.D. This event is held on Saturday August 31, 2019, 7th Floor of Mercu Buana University Tower Building, which was attended by 356 student participants and 6 companies.

Machine Learning

Universitas Mercu Buana – Fresh Graduate Academy (FGA)

This workshop discusses the basic of Machine Learning with Python. The materials include the basic of Python programming for Machine Learning, Supervised vs Unsupervised Learning, Statistical Modeling and its relations with Machine Learning, and popular algorithms such as: Classification, Regression, Clustering, and Dimensional Reduction, and popular models such as: Train/Test Split, Gradient Descent, and Mean Squared Error. The next material is Deep Learning with Tensfor Flow and GPU. This workshop will focus on the practical content and practice.
